At this state-of-the-art broadcasting facility, guests will see and experience how QVC products are sourced, tested, brought to life on air, and delivered to millions of QVC customers. There are views into the studio through the tour, including a spectacular view from the Observation Deck. There will be free time to purchase gifts at the gift shop. We will first stop at the King of Prussia Mall located in King of Prussia, PA, the largest shopping mall in the United States. The National Centre for Padre Pio, nestled in the beautiful countryside of Berks County, features the Our Lady of Grace Chapel, the Padre Pio Spirituality Centre and the Museum and Cultural Centre in a setting reminiscent of the mountainous terrain of San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy. The Saint Pio of Pietrelcina Museum will transport visitors to an inside glimpse of the life of Padre Pio, the Italian friar who was canonized a saint in June 2002. The Our Lady of Grace Chapel is a replica of the 16th Century Capuchin Franciscan Friary Chapel. We may use a new mini bus for this trip (subject to change).

The festival honors the men and women of the United States Coast Guard and celebrates the county’s designation as a Coast Guard Community. The designation was awarded after approval by the United States Coast Guard and an Act of Congress in 2015. The annual festival in Cape May, NJ showcases the relationship between the county and the Coast Guard with a variety of events ranging from guided tours of the training center and coast guard ships, many drill demonstrations, Coast Guard recruits marching in formation, live music entertainment, fun activities, vendors, and much more. If there is time, we will make a shopping stop at Washington Street Mall in downtown Cape May.

The Breakers is the grandest of Newport's summer "cottages" and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's social and financial preeminence in turn of the century America. Built in just two years (1893-1895) at a cost of over 7 million dollars, this National Historic Landmark was the summer home of Cornelius Vanderbilt II. Marble House was built between 1888 and 1892 for Mr. and Mrs. William K. Vanderbilt. It was a summer house, or "cottage", as Newporters called them in remembrance of the modest houses of the early 19th century. We will first make a lunch and shopping stop at the Brick Market Place nestled in the heart of Newport, Rhode Island containing over 25 unique shops and eateries.
